" believe me i am not all that interesting compared to you , to lori and all the big shots at this party tonight. " cedric doesn't see the point in pretending like he even comes close to being any type of big shot like most of the guests in attendance. " before coming out here i actually use to write for my hometowns newspaper , and before you say anything i did warn you that i was lame. " a teasing smirk forms upon the male's lips as he listens to each and every word that comes from jade's lips. " what exactly made you decide to go from being a personal assistant to acting? i mean that is kind of a huge career jump. from what i could say and what my sister has said about you , i don't think you need to worry about disappointing anyone. i mean you got the role for a reason ... don't doubt your talent. she sat down and crossed her legs, "that doesn't mean you aren't interesting, even if it's not all exciting." jade beamed and she ran her fingers through her hair. she patted the spot beside her and she took a deep breath. the breeze was nice and she pulled her little jacket closer to her frame and she hummed softly, "what do you do? for a living..." she murmured and rested her head in her hand. "you already know what i do, but i haven't been acting very long. i started out as a personal assistant. i've only been in some indie films, so this is my biggest movie yet and i'm nervous about how it's going to come out. i hope i can make everyone happy, play the part right for the fans." her cheeks are flushed and she chuckled softly.

" Lori made herself pretty clear about staying away from her co-workers while I'm in town. " It seemed to be easier said than done when it came to this certain fem as it felt like sparks flew the moment he first laid eyes on her.

Open: Females 27+ Plot: His sister is an upcoming actress and he is in town for a couple of months to help take care of her place while most of her time is spent on set. He was invited by default when his younger sister held a wrap party , and it is there that the pair meet. Neither able to deny the connection between them.

Cedric isn't even close to having his life put together and now adding a baby to a mix would only complicate things. He knew that his only option is to be there for her and whatever choice she made he'd have to be respectful of her choice. All he knew was that it meant that it was time for him to stop the casual sleeping around to growing up and being responsible. "Have you um made up your mind about what you want to do? It hurt just as much to stand there and listen to her reasoning about not being ready for the commitment the five years prior and how now things were different. " Don't be dramatic , Emira. I am sure that if you came up with a few excuses it wouldn't lead to my sister being suspicious. Plus Lori never once brought up any kind of ideas of thinking that there is anything going on between us. In all truthfulness I think that you just read into Lori's words a little too much. " Maybe Cedric had just become too focused on wanting to spend his time with Emira to see the possible signs that maybe his younger sister does know that there is something possibly happening between the pair.

“What would you like for me to do then, Cedric?” She asked him with a small frown, “We agreed to keep us a secret because you know she would never approve of us. You want me to start making up excuses so she gets suspicious again?”

" He doesn't love you like I do. " Cedric knows it is wrong for him to say such a statement when he doesn't know if it is true or false. Yet in the moment he is doing everything he can to prevent her from marrying the other.

Open: Females 25+ Connection: Exes Plot: The two were about to get engaged instead he finds out that she has been cheating on him with is best friend. Femme confessing because there is possibility that the baby is the other male's.

      Cedric keeps telling himself to stop staring at the femme or else he is surely going to get caught but someone else that isn’t her.  The two had still yet to get caught by his sister ,  but that doesn’t mean he can allow himself to slip up at any point.   The male made sure no one was looking their way before mouthing she looks beautiful.    “ I think I’m going to head for a walk ,  it’s getting a bit warm in here.  “    || @aeternuswords​ ||

“ Do you ever plan on telling her ?  You can’t tell me that there hasn’t been a time that she has woken up in the middle of the night and questioned where you’ve wondered off to ? “   Cedric has done his part pretty well on his end of keeping the tension off of the two of them , but can’t help but grow curious to if his sister had possibly caught on to her being up to something whenever she is staying at the home.         “ So you’re really going to marry him? “   The two have been best friends for as long as Cedric can recall.  Meaning he had been her shoulder to cry on during every heartache and reminding her of how it had been their loss.  Something that Cedric still strongly agrees with ,  but the man she was about to marry gave him not the best type of vibes.
